ENCIPHALIA- The Robotics Event
"THE EVENT FOR ROBOTS
AND FOR THE PEOPLE WHO
KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM"

The most happening event is back. Use your gray cells to prepare your masterpiece.
GOAL- to put the table tennis balls in the 4 holes provided at the one end of the arena through the 4 paths available in the arena respectively.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1.The height of the robot should not exceed 30x30cm.
2.The picture of the arena is provided along with the dimensions below.
3.There will be four paths of 60,90,120 and 150cm in length and 30 cm each in breadth.
4.There will be walls surrounding each path and also the complete arena
5...10 minutes will be provided to each participant in which he has to place the table tennis balls in allay holes provided at one end of the arena.
6.A participant is not suppose to repeat a path hence,he has to go through all the four paths in order to return to the first path of shortest length.
Marking Scheme:
1.when the robot is successful in placing the ball in hole 1 through path 1 it gets +25 and -5 each time the ball hits the walls.
2.when the robot is successful in placing the ball in hole 2 through path 2 it gets +50 and -10 each time the ball hits the walls.
3.when the robot is successful in placing the ball in hole 3 through path 3 it gets +75 and -15 each time the ball hits the walls.
4.when the robot is successful in placing the ball in hole 4 through path 4 it gets +100 and -20 each time the ball hits the walls.
5.If the ball hits the wall more than five times that hit will be disqualified.
6.There will be no negative marking if the ball hits the wall behind the allay holes or the back boundary of the arena.
